Tiger boys fall to Falcons, two games out of first

Atwater-Cosmos-Grove City held Morris Area/Chokio-Alberta to 14 points in the first half and beat the second-place Tigers 52-48 in a West Central Conference South game on Friday.

Dylan Hoerchler led the Falcons with 18 points, four assists, and hit three three pointers.

Jacob Belgum added 16 points, four assists, and four steals.

Riley Arndt led the Tigers with 14 points and Austin Dierks had a double double with 11 points and 10 rebounds.

With the loss, the Tigers fall to two games behind first-place Montevideo at 6-2. The Falcons improved to 5-2.
