Tiger boys pick up 10-point win

The Morris Area boys' basketball team picked up another win Thursday in Ortonville, defeating the Trojans 62-52.

Tied 31-31 at the half, the Tigers shut down the Trojans in the second half.

Both teams were shooting near 43 percent, but the Tigers had more looks at the basket.

Lincoln Arnold led the Tigers with 18 points. Corey Hennen added 13 and Chris Scott chipped in 12.

Also scoring for the Tigers were Jackson Henrich with nine, Eric Riley with four, Tyler Meichsner with three, Corey Nohl with two, and Taylor Nohl with one.

At the boards, Henrich led the team with 10 rebounds. He also blocked three shots and dished out three assists.

Arnold led the Tigers with four steals.
