Morris Area/Chokio-Alberta kept its lead in the West Central South boys' basketball race with an 82-53 win over Lac qui Parle Valley Friday.
The Tigers hold a one-game lead over Minnewaska in the conference at 12-0. With the win, they improved to 17-0 overall.
The Eagles fell to 7-5 in the conference and 8-8 overall. Jackson Henrich scored 19 points and grabbed six rebounds to pace the Tigers. Lincoln Arnold followed with 18 points, Cory Hennen had 15, and Corey Nohl 10.
Eric Riley and Nohl grabbed five rebounds apiece. Alex Erickson led the Tigers with eight assists.
Chase Keimig's 10 points led a balanced attack for the Eagles. Zach Moen added eight points and Zach Jensen had seven.
