The Morris Area/Chokio-Alberta boys' basketball team improved to 10-0 Friday with a 63-32 win over Yellow Medicine East.
The victory puts the Tigers at 5-0 in the West Central Conference South, while the Sting drop to 1-6. Minnewaska Area is the only other team with an unblemished conference record. The top spot will be decided Thursday when the Tigers and Lakers battle it out in Morris.
Against the Sting, Lincoln Arnold led nine players in the scoring column with 18 points. Mac Kampmeier followed with 14 points and Corey Nohl had 10.
Jackson Henrich grabbed 10 rebounds and recorded five blocks. Alex Erickson had seven assists.
Taylor Olson of YME scored 11 points.
