Tiger girls fall to Eagles with buzzer shot
Despite a career high 21-point night from junior forward Mary Rentz, the Morris Area/Chokio-Alberta girls' basketball team was knocked out of first place in the West Central Conference South with a 44-43 loss to Lac qui Parle Valley Friday night on the road.
Making her first varsity start for the Eagles, sophomore Kacey Struxness hit a shot at the buzzer to win the game.
