Morris Area/Chokio-Alberta led from the get-go and improved to 3-1 in the conference with a 58-44 victory at over Minnewaska Area at home Tuesday.

Katie Holzheimer led a group of four Tigers scoring in double figures with 15 points. Beth Holland followed with 12, Nicole Strobel 11, and Courtney Gades 10.

MaKenzie Smith added eight and Holly Amundson had two. Smith also grabbed nine rebounds to lead the Tigers.

Holzheimer recorded five steals.

Sydney Joos netted a game-high 22 points and Madison Phillips pumped in 10 more for the Lakers. Halle Christianson handed out 8 assists.
