The Morris Area girls' golf team traveled to Ortonville and Madison last week.

After four meets, Minnewaska Area led the West Central Conference South. BOLD and Montevideo followed. Morris Area was in eighth place overall.

Ortonville

Only two Tigers participated in the Ortonville Invite on Tuesday, April 27, with Cassidy Hennen posting a 110 and Keli Pry carding a 112.

Milbank had its foursome shoot 106 or lower to win the invite with a 387. Rachel Patnode of Milbank was the medalist, shooting an 82.

Madison

Morris Area finished in seventh place at the Madison Country Club Thursday in the fourth conference meet of the season.

Pry led the Tigers with a 49. Hennen carded a 53, Sydney Engebretson posted a 65, and Carly Gullickson had a 72.

Minnewaska's Allie Ostrander and Sarah Roering each shot a 38 to tie for medalist. The Lakers had the top five spots to help them win the meet.
