Tiger girls' golf team wraps up schedule

The Morris Area girls' golf team completed the West Central Conference South schedule with four matches on the road.

At the Minnewaska Golf Club on May 6, Tiger Keli Pry carded a 49, while Pam Sax posted a 53 and Cassidy Hennen had a 58.

Minnewaska won with a 158, led by Sarah Roering's 37.

The next day at Granite Falls, Pry carded a 48 and Sax and Hennen each posted a 54.

Minnewaska won with a 144. Emily Roering led the Lakers with a 34.

At Benson on May 11, Pry carded a 49, Sax posted a 53, and Hennen had a 55.

Emily Roering's 36 led Minnewaska to its eighth consecutive conference win with a 156.

The Tigers wrapped up conference competition in Montevideo May 14. Pry led the Tigers with a 45, while Sax carded a 50 and Hennen posted a 59.

Minnewaska won the match with a score of 145 and won the conference standings with a 13-point lead over Benson/ Kerkhoven-Murdock-Sunburg.

Emily Roering was the medalist with a 32.
