Tiger girls improve to 6-2
The Morris Area/Chokio-Alberta girls' basketball team improved to 6-2 on the season with a 72-58 win over Long Prairie-Grey Eagle Tuesday.
The Tigers scored a season-high 72 points with a fast-paced, evenly matched first half.
"We haven't scored 42 points in a half this season and we were only ahead by four (at halftime)," said coach Ken Gagner. "Long Prairie just matched every run we put together and thank goodness our team came out on fire."
