Tiger girls stay perfect at home
The Morris Area/Chokio-Alberta girls stayed perfect at home with a 56-52 conference win over Yellow Medicine East Saturday in a game that had been rescheduled due to the cold on Friday. The Tigers improve to 5-2 on the season and are 3-1 in the West Central Conference South.
"This was a good win for us," said coach Ken Gagner. "YME is a solid team that plays very physical basketball. They pound you on the boards and there is a lot of contact all over the place.
