The Morris Area/Chokio-Alberta girls' basketball team defeated Ortonville 52-46 in overtime Thursday at home.
It was the Tigers' second overtime game in three days, as they lost to Benson in OT on Tuesday night.
Mary Rentz made two free throws with 28 seconds left in the second half to send the game into overtime. She then scored six of the Tigers' eight points in the extra period to finish the night with 15 points.
Jenna Nelson had three three pointers en route to netting 15 of her game-high 21 points in the first half to help give the Tigers a slim five-point lead at halftime.
"I give a lot of credit to Ortonville," said Tiger coach Ken Gagner. "They just kept working and we could not pull away. We were extremely fortunate to win this game."
Sarah Kuhn and Erin Schieler pulled down nine rebounds apiece to lead the Tigers. Both Nelson and Rentz recorded five steals in the game. Nelson was the assist leader with five.
