The West Central Conference meet was held in Morris this past Saturday, Feb. 8. Melrose took the meet with 145.3 points, followed by Benson / Kerkoven-Murdock-Sunburg with 121.4 points. The Morris Area / Chokio-Alberta Tigers came in third with 120.15 points and Long Prairie-Grey Eagle (114.875) and Paynesville - Eden Valley - Watkins (102.575) rounded out the top five.

Savannah Aanerud took fifth in all around competition, seventh on bars, seventh place on floor, and eighth on vault.

Kendra Jergenson received sixth place on beam, seventh place in all around, and tied for ninth place on floor.

Kendra Buro took eighth on the bars, and Noel Schieler placed tenth.

Abby Travis and Karli Siegel both set new personal bests on beam.

Kendra Jergenson set a new personal best on the bars.

Aanerud, Kourney Giese, and Jergenson were honored as All Conference Gymnasts in the WCC for this season.

The Section 6A gymnastics meet will be held on Saturday, Feb. 15 in Litchfield.
