Tiger tennis team back in action
The Morris Area/ Chokio-Alberta tennis team started the season with a split at home Friday, Aug. 18.
The Tigers fell to West Central Area 5-2, but bounced back to defeat Parkers Prairie 4-3.
At first singles Abbie Olson lost to Lauryn Mclaughlin 6-4, 6-2.
At second singles Hannah Breeggemann lost to Regan Biss 6-2, 6-2.
At third singles Katie Cannon lost to Taylor Endreson 6-1, 7-5.
Jessica Burks won due to forfeit at fourth singles.
At first doubles Carly Gullickson and Kaitlin Vogel defeated Dawn Cleveland and Brittany Randt 3-6, 7-6 tie breaker 8-6 and third set tie breaker 11-9.
At second doubles Brittany Cardwell and Rachel Wagner lost to Marissa Hayward and McKenna Clehr 6-2, 6-2.
At third doubles Caitlin Wilts and Alyna Kleinwolterink lost to Hailey Kreft and Ali Veldhouse 6-0, 6-2.

At secod singles Hannah Breeggemann lost to Liz Wippler 6-1, 6-3.
At third singles Katie Cannon defeated Summer Dobratz 6-4, 6-0.
At fourth singles Jessica Burks lost to Sam Koegel 4-6, 6-3, tie breaker 10-5.

At second doubles Brittany Cardwell and Rachel Wagner defeated Sabrina Higgley and Sam Kastner 6-2, 6-1.
