Tiger tennis wins at home
The Morris Area/Chokio-Alberta Tigers split their last two matches, falling to West Central Area 6-1 on Thursday Aug. 29, but bounced back to defeat Yellow Medicine East 4-3 on Tuesday at home.
At first singles Kaitlin Vogel lost to Lauryn Mclaughlin 6-2, 6-2.
At second singles Hannah Breeggemann lost to Regan Biss 6-3, 6-3.
At third singles Jessica Burks lost to Taylor Endreson 6-1, 6-1.
At fourth singles Caitlin Wilts lost to Ali Veldhouse 6-0, 6-2.
The first doubles team of Carly Gullickson and Kjersa Anderson defeated Dawn Cleveland and Brittany Randt 6-2, 1-6, 6-6 with a tie breaker 7-4.
At second doubles Annie Brandt and Rachel Wagner lost to Marissa Hayward and McKenna Blehr 6-2, 6-2.
At third doubles Sarah Jackson and Alyna Kleinwolterink lost to Hailey Kreft and Megan Holl 6-1, 6-0.
The Tigers swept doubles to go with Abbie Olson’s victory at first singles to defeat the Sting 4-3.
At first singles Abbie Olson defeated Danielle Clarke 6-4, 7-5.
At second singles Maddie Hennen lost to Jordan Glad 6-3, 6-2.
At third singles Hannah Breeggemann lost to Britannia Radditz 6-0, 6-2.
At fourth singles Caitlin Wilts lost to Sophie Timm 6-1, 6-2.

The second doubles team of Kaitlin Vogel and Brittany Cardwell defeated Ann Clarke and Mariah Norell 1-7, 7-6 (7-5), 10-8.
At third doubles Jessica Burks and Annie Brandt defeated Steph Bartels and Hailey Spielman 4-6, 6-2, 6-3.
