Tiger volleyball team picks up first win

Morris Area/Chokio-Alberta recorded the season's first victory Tuesday by defeating Benson 3-1.

A balanced front line attack made the difference for the Tigers. Paige Schieler led with seven kills, MicKenley Nagel had five, and Nicole Strobel and Sydney Engebretson both had four.

Nagel and Katie Holzheimer both had four solo blocks.

Emma Peterson led the Braves with 19 kills and 30 digs, and Alexa Nissen had 28 set assists.
