Tiger wrestlers win Ortonville dual
The Morris Area/Hancock/Chokio-Alberta wrestling team won its final regular-season dual 51-27 at Ortonville Thursday, Feb. 11.
Coach Shane Tappe said it was a good feeling to defeat the Trojans.
"It was the best they'd wrestled all year," he said.
The Tigers filled all but two weight classes in Ortonville.
"The younger kids are stepping up to fill classes," Tappe said. "They're doing a good job."
The Tigers were victorious in nine weight classes including pins by Seth Nelson at 112 pounds, Jordan Thooft at 125, Wade Feuchtenberger at 140, Tanner Berning at 160, Ryan Beyer at 171, and Jeff Knobloch at 215.
