Tigers come up one point short against Streeters

Morris Area/Chokio-Alberta came up short in a 55-54 loss to Sauk Centre at home Monday in non-conference boys' basketball. The Tigers had two shot attempts in the final 50 seconds to win, but couldn't convert against the Mainstreeters.

The Tigers fell to 12-6 overall while Sauk Centre improved to 10-8.

The Tigers' Austin Dierks scored 18 points and had nine rebounds, while teammate Riley Arndt added 12 points and six boards.
