Tigers down Brave-Owls 10-1 in Morris

Morris Area/Chokio-Alberta moved to 4-0 on the softball season with a 10-1 victory over Benson/Hancock Thursday at home.

McKenzie Van Batavia went six innings for the win. She gave up eight hits, but walked only one and fanned nine. The Tiger defense played flawlessly.

Steph Hennen went 3-for-3 and Brooke Wente drove in a pair of runs for the Tigers.

McKenzie Jensen, Kendra Schmidgall, and Alissa Hughes each got a pair of hits for the Brave-Owls.
