The Morris Area/Chokio-Alberta boys’ swimming team hosted its final dual of the season against Detroit Lakes Tuesday at the RFC.
The 200 medley relay team of Vaughn Dieter, Mickey Cotter, Andrew Messner, and Dalton Pieske recorded a time of 2:18.80.
Roy Reese finished first in the 200 freestyle with a time of 1:58.18.
In the 50 freestyle Messner swam a 31.56; Jacob Just swam a 40.21 for a new personal-best time; J.P. Perillo swam a 29.87 for a new personal-best time; Jacob Johnson swam a 31.80; Pieske swam a 32.83; Cotter swam a 29.92; and Tanner Larson swam a 33.99.
In the 100 freestyle Just swam a 1:34.55; Johnson swam a 1:13.56; Larson swam a 1:10.56; Messner swam a 1:16.93; and Dieter swam a 1:01.46.
Reese cut five seconds for a new season-best time of 5.38.78 in the 500 freestyle.
The 200 freestyle relay team of Just, Johnson, Perillo, and Isaak Kolstad recorded a time of 2:28.92, while the team of seniors (Reese, Larson, Pieske, and Cotter) finished with a time of 1:58.89.
Dieter had a time of 1:09.77 in the 100 backstroke.
Kolstad had a time of 1:41.11 in the 100 breaststroke.
The 400 freestyle relay team, including Reese, Johnson, Messner, and Dieter, finished with a time of 4:36.32.
