Tigers open season in Brooten

The Morris Area/Chokio-Alberta volleyball team opened the 2011 season Tuesday with a 3-1 loss at Belgrade-Brooten-Elrosa.

The Tigers won the first set 25-16, but the Jaguars rallied to win three straight, 25-16, 25-17, and 25-21 at Brooten.

Terianne Itzen led the Tigers with 17 kills and 23 digs.
