The Morris Area/Chokio-Alberta volleyball team split the final two regular season matches, falling to BOLD in four and defeating Atwater-Cosmos-Grove City in five.
The Tigers earned the No. 2 seed in Section 3AA and host Lac qui Parle Valley Friday.
The Tigers fought BOLD on the road Oct. 14, dropping a close match 28-26, 24-26, 25-22, and 25-22. The last time the two teams met on Sept. 14, the Tigers lost in three by scores of 25-17, 25-19, and 25-12.
The win gave BOLD the West Central Conference South title, as the Warriors remained undefeated in league play.
Erin Schieler had 17 kills to lead the Tigers. Carrie Roske had 35 digs and Mackenzie Weatherly served four aces.
After falling behind 2-0, the Tigers rallied for a comeback to down the Falcons 23-25, 13-25, 25-12, 25-20, and 15-9 on Tuesday.
When they played Sept. 16, the Falcons came out on top of a five-set match.
Both teams finished 8-4 in the Conference.
The Tigers had only two serving errors in five games. Weatherly had one of those, but she also had six aces in 24 deliveries.
Schieler cranked out 67 attacks with 22 going for kills against eight errors, plus eight ace blocks. Roske worked the back line for 49 digs.
