The Morris Area boys' and girls' track and field teams participated in the East West Classic at MSU-Moorhead May 2.
The girls finished with 16.50 points and placed ninth overall. The winning team was East Grand Forks with 137.50 points.
Tina Larson took third place in the 400-meter dash with a time of 1:05.39.
Rachel Moser was third in the pole vault with an 8-0.
The 4X400 relay team of Katie Huot, Moser, Kelsey Loew, and Larson placed fourth with a time of 4:30.33.
Erica Domnick placed fifth in the high jump with a 4-6.
The boys came in third with 78.5 points at the 10-team meet. First place went to Roseau with 137.50 points, while East Grand Forks was second with 82.50.
The 4X100 relay team of placed first with a time of 46.30.
The 4X200 team also placed first with a time of 1:36.29.
Lincoln Arnold finished in first place in the 200-meter dash with a time of 22.60.
The 4X400 relay team took second with a time of 3:39.03.
Stefan Lemke placed second in the 1600-meter run with a time of 4:49.85. He also placed second in the 3200 with a time of 10:55.93.
Jackson Henrich took second place in the discus with a throw of 141-9.5.
Eric Goette placed third in the pole vault with a height of 10-0.
Steve Sarlette placed fourth in the 100-meter dash with a time of 11.71.
Matt Wulf placed fourth in the 400-meter dash with a time of 55.57.
The 4X800 relay team finished fifth with a time of 9:56.51.
