Tigers on short end of back-and-forth match

Morris Area/Chokio-Alberta overcame a slow start at home to take Benson the distance Thursday, Sept. 29, but the Tigers could not pull it off, dropping the fifth set 15-7.

It was Benson's sixth straight win.

After a 25-9 loss in the first set, the Tigers turned it around to win the second 25-23.

The third set went to the Braves 26-24, but the Tigers came back 25-20 in the fourth to force the deciding set.

Terianne Itzen had 15 kills and Sydney Engrebretson had 11 kills. Mikaela Henrichs recorded 29 digs for the Tigers, while Courtney Ehleringer had 22.
