Morris Area picked up a big 47-14 road win Friday night at Long Prairie.
After trading touchdowns in the first half, Morris Area trailed Long Prairie-Gray Eagle 14-13 at the break. The Tiger defense shut down the Thunder in the second half, while the offense took the lead adding 34 points.
With the win, the Tigers improve to 3-1 on the season overall, 2-1 in the West Central Conference South.
The Tigers moved the ball nearly 400 yards on the ground.
Tyler Hansen rushed for over 200 yards and two touchdowns.
This Friday the Tigers host BOLD for the 2009 Homecoming Game at Big Cat Stadium. The Warriors are 2-2 overall and 2-1 in the conference.
