The Tigers got on the board early on Erickson's single, Eric Riley's RBI triple, and Cole Riley's RBI hit for a 2-0 lead.
In the third, the Tigers went up 4-2 when Ryan Beyer doubled over the center fielder's head and Eric Riley tripled again, followed by another Cole Riley RBI hit.
In the bottom of the seventh, Montevideo trailed 13-9 and had the bases loaded. Tyler Hansen struck out Joe Bednar, who was 4-for-4 at that point, and got a pop up to end the game.
Hansen got a three-inning save and Eric Riley worked four innings for the win.
