Tigers sunk by Lakers in opener
The Morris Area/Chokio-Alberta football team opened the season with a 31-14 loss at Minnewaska on Friday, Aug. 30.
Despite the score, total yardage was balanced between the Tigers and the Lakers. In fact, the Tigers ran more plays and had more time of possession. The difference was a long interception return that set up a Laker touchdown and a kickoff return to the end zone that gave the Lakers their final edge of victory.
