Tigers sweep Bulldogs 3-0

All three Morris Area volleyball teams won at Paynesville Thursday. The varsity team improved to 2-1 in the West Central Conference South with scores of 25-14, 25-16, and 25-15.

Erin Schieler and Alissa Melberg led the Tigers with six kills apiece. Schieler also had five digs, three ace blocks, and one ace serve.

Sara Beyer had five kills, along with three ace blocks and three digs.

Mary Rentz had five kills, eight digs, and one ace serve.

Dani Staples had three kills.

Kelsey Amundson led the Tigers with 12 digs. She also recorded one kill.

Brianna Neuman had 20 assists and seven digs, along with one ace serve on 20-for-20 serving.

Heather Gagner had one ace serve on 3-for-3 serving.

Brooke Anderson was a perfect 6-for-6 serving and recorded four digs.

Alisha Roske was 5-for-7 serving and recorded five digs.

Jenna Nelson recorded one dig for the Tigers.
