The undefeated Morris Area/Chokio-Alberta football team travels to Benson tonight to take on the 2-1 Braves.
After last week's 41-8 victory over Sauk Centre, the Tigers have been noticed in the state prep football polls. Morris Area/Chokio-Alberta debuts at No. 8 in Class AAA.
Section rival New London-Spicer moved up to third place in the polls.
This week, the Morris Area/Chokio-Alberta and Benson football teams will not only battle on the football field, but will also compete in the "Tackle Cancer" contest.
The Tigers and Braves have engaged in a week-long contest to see which team can raise the most money for cancer causes. The contest is in cooperation with the Randy Shaver Cancer Research and Community Fund and the Minnesota Football Coaches Association.
Funds can be raised until halftime of the Tigers-Braves game tonight in Benson.
If you can't make it to the game, donations can be left with coach Witt at Morris Area Elementary School.
