Tigers take fifth at Fridley invite

The Morris Area/Hancock/Chokio-Alberta wrestling team traveled to the Fridley Invitational Saturday, Dec. 5.

Coach Shane Tappe was proud of the Tigers' fifth-place finish.

"We had two champions and we wrestled really well," he said.

140 lbs.: Eric Goette took second place.

145 lbs.: Wade Feuchtenberger won the third place match with a 5-2 decision.

152 lbs.: Taylor Kramer finished in fifth place.

160 lbs.: Tanner Berning won the championship match by fall in :47.

171 lbs.: Ryan Beyer placed sixth.

189 lbs.: Jeff Knobloch won the third-place match by fall in 1:43.

215 lbs.: Joel Harrison finished in sixth place.
