Morris Area/Chokio-Alberta stayed in third place in the West Central Conference with a 25-19, 25-18, 23-25, 25-13 win at Montevideo Thursday.

The Tigers improved to 5-2 in the conference, trailing Minnewaska and undefeated Sauk Centre.

Sydney Engebretson powered the Tigers with 17 kills. Paige Schieler was close behind with 13 kills, while Mickenley Nagel had eight kills and six ace blocks

Ashley Hoehne had 11 kills for the T-Hawks and Natalie Feldhake had five kills and eight blocking aces.
