Lauren Reimers and Kayla Pring both homered en route to the Morris Area / Chokio-Alberta Tigers winning their ninth game of the season on Friday, May 2 in Morris.

Reimers was 4-for-5 and Pring was 1-for-1 with two RBIs in the 13-3 victory over the Melrose Dutchmen. Becca Holland, Lacee Maanum and Nicole Strobel rounded off the total eight Tiger hits in the contest with Holland contributing a triple with her lone hit of the night.

Brooke Gillespie pitched all six innings to earn the win, and the Tiger defense allowed just three earned runs on eight hits to contribute to the W.

The Tigers are 5-0 in the West Central Conference and 9-2 overall. They play Marshall today (Monday) in Marshall at 5 p.m.
