Lincoln Arnold scored 23 points and Jackson Henrich scored 19 to lead the Morris Area boys basketball team to a 70-37 win over Paynesville Tuesday.

The Tigers improved to 20-3 overall and 14-2 in the West Central South. They hold a two-game conference lead over Montevideo.

The Tigers already have the top seed locked up in its Section 6AA West, and they will play at 7 p.m., Thursday, March 12, in Morris. The Tigers won't know which team they'll play until after games this Friday.

Breckenridge is the sub-section's No. 2 seed, Staples-Motley is No. 3 and Benson is No. 4. The final seeding of the remaining teams -- Osakis, Long Prairie-Grey Eagle, Minnewaska, and West Central Area -- will be set by this weekend.

The Tigers are 20-3 this season and are ranked No. 6 in the state.
