The Morris Area/Chokio-Alberta volleyball team won three pool matches, then defeated Lac qui Parle Valley and Carlton, to win the Hancock Invitational championship on Saturday.

Yellow Medicine East was 3-2 overall and defeated the host team for the consolation championship.

The Tigers defeated Hendricks 25-2, 25-6; West Central Area 23-25, 25-15, 15-12; and Ortonville 25-19, 25-15 in pool play. The Tigers then defeated Lac qui Parle Valley 25-21, 25-13 to advance to the championship match. The Tigers won the invitational with a  25-18, 25-16 win over Carlton.
