The opening seven minutes was a low scoring game as it was tied 7-all with just over 10 minutes left in the first  half. The Tigers called a timeout to fire things up a bit and it worked. Coming out of the timeout, the Tigers went on a 10-2 run over the next four minutes of play, forcing a Laker timeout. The Tiger run continued until their lead grew to double digits with just over four minutes to play in the half. The Lakers cut the lead to nine at one point, but Jordan Arbach got fouled and sank his free throws at 1:50 to increase the Tiger lead 26-15. After the made free throws by Arbach, Milbank turnovers and Tiger boards helped hold the 11 point lead before Arbach, again, found the basket with seconds left, finishing out the first half 28-15.

Noah Grove hit double digit scoring with 10 and was the leading scorer in the first half, followed by Eric Staebler with eight and and Arbach with seven.

Milbank outscored the Tigers 32-29 in the second half, cutting the lead to six  at one point in the half, but it wasn’t enough as the Tigers went on to take the their second victory of the season 57-47.
