Tigers win third straight volleyball match

The Morris Area/ Chokio-Alberta Tigers recorded their third straight sweep with a 3-0 win over Lac qui Parle Valley Thursday at home in West Central Conference South volleyball action.

The Eagles fell to 0-10 in the conference and 0-23 overall. Morris improved to 4-7 and 10-12.

Sydney Engebretson led the Tigers with eight kills, an ace serve, and two ace blocks. Jaimie Bergerson added eight kills. Terianne Itzen had seven kills and a team-leading 11 digs. Nicole Strobel had five ace serves and four kills.

Jordan Halvorson led the Eagles with five kills.
