"I thought we had great leadership this year from our seniors," said coach Mary Holmberg. "This was a difficult spring due to all the cancellations. Adrienne, Britney, Jen, and Katie kept their enthusiasm and focus on our team goals.
Rentz and Schultz led the team in hits and runs scored.
"Dani and Mary were consistent hitters. They made solid contact and put pressure on the opponent's defense."
Rentz led the Tigers in defense with 57 assists, followed by Schultz with 48.
Kelsey Amundson and Sara Beyer shared the pitching duties.
"Both Kelsey and Sara will be back next year. The experience they gained as juniors will help us tremendously for the future," said Holmberg.
Heather Gagner contributed to the Tigers at second base, along with Brianna Neuman and Alissa Melberg in the outfield.
"We made great strides this year and look forward to next spring."
