This Saturday the Tigers will host 10 teams for an individual tournament. The matches start at 10 a.m. in the Morris Area Elementary gymnasium.

Coach Shane Tappe is looking forward to the invitational. He said it's been a tough year for the Tigers. Besides being young and short in numbers, the team has missed some key wrestlers due to injury, including Tim Ostby, Corey O'Keefe, and Eric Goette.

Despite the setbacks, Tappe said both the experienced and the new wrestlers are doing a great job.

"We've got such a wide range of kids," said Tappe. "Sometimes as coaches we forget that some of these kids are still learning what is expected of them."

As a team, the Tigers earned 38 points at the conference match up. Tanner Berning took third place, while Zach Gibson finished in fourth and Josh Nelson placed sixth.
