Jim and Andrea Swenson, owners of the Toy Barn, slowly starting getting into the farm brand clothing lines while attending shows with his toy parts. They found there was an even greater demand for the clothing than for the parts. Theye therefore started ordering and selling a good selection of brands and styles.

In the shop Jim and Andrea carries a large supply of patches from nearly every type of farm machinery dealership you can imagine. These beautifully colored patches can then be ironed on t-shirts, sweatshirts, and hoodies. There is also a number of hats, stocking hats, straw hats and banners for customers looking for a particular brand.

The Toy Barn features John Deere, Massey Ferguson, IH, Minneapolis Moline, Schottputt and other brands. The clothing lines come in many sizes and colors.

There are also a few non-clothing items lining the shelves at the Toy Barn. One table features all types of tractor manuals and there is a display of antiques including Wattware and other glassware for women and decoys, fishing gear and other antiques for men.

Along with the sale of the clothing, toys and antiques Jim and Andrea will be taking over the balloon sales formerly conducted through the library. There are a number of special occasion mylar balloons on display to select from along with many colors of latex balloons. They will deliver orders and a portion of the sales will continue to go to the library for their summer reading and other projects.

The Swensons decided to open the display floor basically because they had the space, the product and was heating the building any way. They plan to display many of the items they currently take to toy shows and see what happens.

Stop in and take a look for yourself from 8:30-10 and 4-6 Monday through Friday. Or if those hours don't work just give them a call at 392-5375 or 392-5371 and they will be happy to come down and let you take a look. You may just find the perfect gift for that farmer at heart on your Christmas list.
