Turnovers plague Tigers in loss to Vikings

Morris Area/Chokio-Alberta trailed Pelican Rapids by two at halftime, but came up short 51-43 Tuesday at home in non-conference girls' basketball.


The Tigers are now 6-3 overall. The Vikings improve to 9-1.

"The Tigers struggled to get things going offensively, as the Viking speed on defense made us turn the ball over 25 time," explained coach Dale Henrich. "We had some good looks at the basket, but came up with a final tally of 15-for-52 from the field.
