UMM Carol Concerts feature Charlie Brown

The University of Minnesota, Morris Carol Concerts -- "A Carol Concert with Charlie Brown," is Saturday, Dec. 5, 7:30 p.m., and Sunday, Dec. 6, 2 p.m. at the Morris Area Schools Concert Hall.

"A Carol Concert with Charlie Brown" will carry on the 32-year tradition of singing the music of the holiday season.

The annual holiday concerts are performed by the University of Minnesota, Morris Concert Choir, under the direction of Ken Hodgson, and the University Choir under the direction of Melissa Hanson.

A meal prepared by Bello Cucina will be available before each of the concerts in the Morris Area Elementary School dining area 90 minutes prior to the performances.

Advance tickets are required for the dinner.

The advance tickets and performance-only tickets can be purchased by calling (320) 589-6239, or by sending payment, a self-addressed envelope and the date of the performance to UMM Carol Concerts, UMM Business Office, Morris, MN 56267.

Tickets also can be purchased at the UMM Student Center, and will be sold at the door the day of the performance.

The University of Minnesota, Morris Christmas Flute Ensemble will provide 30 minutes of prelude music for the Carol Concerts. The Flute Ensemble begins at 7 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 5, and at 1:30 p.m. on Sunday, Dec. 6.

Due to the high demand for seating, advanced tickets are recommended.
