Students, faculty, and community members are welcome and encouraged to attend. This event represents a unique initiative in the field of collegiate music studies.

A Winter Holiday Concert—UMM Jazz Ensembles and Guests

UMM is steeped in a tradition of high quality jazz music. Under the direction of Jason Squinobal, the UMM Jazz Ensembles perform regular concerts on campus in addition to promoting jazz in the community. This year the UMM Jazz Ensemble will welcome the season with its performance of Duke Ellington's version of the Nutcracker Suite. This event will take place on Saturday, Nov. 23, at 7:30 p.m. in the Student Center’s Oyate Hall. Cookies, candy canes, coffee, tea and cocoa will be served.
