Morris Area Farmers Market
The Morris Healthy Eating Initiative encourages you to check out the wide selection of fresh produce and homegrown items available Tuesdays from 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. and Thursdays from 3 p.m. until 6 p.m., June through September, in the Aaron Carlson Parking Lot at 801 Atlantic Avenue.
Summer Fun in the Garden
The West Central Research and Outreach Center (WCROC) Horticulture Garden in Morris will again be hosting a series of family gardening programs. Summer Fun in the Garden begins on Wednesday, July 13, at 6 p.m. with a light optional supper followed by a presentation by a Master Gardener on a topic of interest to the home gardener. Added bonus: a garden activity conducted by 4-H for children! The program is free, but there is a small fee for the grilled light supper. Piano Tuning Seminars
Workshops will be held in HFA 185 Monday through Friday, July 18 until July 29, from 8 to 11 a.m. and 1 to 2 p.m. each day.

The West Central Research and Outreach Center (WCROC) will host Horticulture Night on Thursday, July 28, from 5 until 9 p.m. This annual event provides tours of the University of Minnesota, Morris's Horticultural Gardens.
Activities include discussions on various gardening topics, gardening technique demonstrations, games in the Children's Garden, a picnic dinner and much, much more. Area businesses, nurseries and gardening organizations will also be on hand to display their wares and services.
