Volleyball Annual Dig Pink Matches
The Cougar Volleyball team is hosting the annual Dig Pink matches this Saturday, Oct. 8 vs. Martin Luther at 1 p.m. and Jamestown College (JV) at 3 p.m. The matches will take place at the Regional Fitness Center. Spanish Language Film Festival
The Spanish Discipline is bringing quality films from Mexico, the Dominican Republic, Peru, and Spain to west central Minnesota for the benefit and enjoyment of the campus and community at no charge. The second film, Sugar, will be screened on Sunday, Oct. 9, at 7 p.m. The campus and public are invited to the free films, with English subtitles, in the Morris Theatre at 12 East Sixth Street.
H. Glenn Penny, associate professor of history at the University of Iowa, will give the 27th annual O. Truman Driggs Distinguished Lecture at 7:30 p.m. on Monday, Oct. 10, in the Humanities Fine Arts Recital Hall. Penny will discuss "On Passing: A 'Redskin' with Black Skin in Twentieth Century Germany." The lecture is free and open to the public.
A Popcorn Concert will be held on Thursday, Oct. 13, at 7:30 p.m. in the Student's Center Oyate Hall.
