Briggs Library Associates Book Sale

Briggs Library will be hosting a book sale from noon until 7 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 20, and Friday, Oct. 21, from 10:30 a.m. until 3:30 p.m. in the Student Center's Oyate Hall.

Asking the Big Questions

The next gathering of the monthly Asking the Big Questions campus/community discussion series is on Thursday, Oct. 20, at 7 p.m. in the library's McGinnis Room.  Explore the history of immigration and Minnesota. History professor Stephen Gross will give a brief overview. Discussion will follow. Snacks and refreshments served at 6:30 p.m. Everyone is welcome to attend.

Mixed Student Recital

A mixed student recital will be performed on Thursday, Oct. 20, at 7:30 p.m. in the Humanities Fine Arts Recital Hall.

Moliere Than Thou: free comedy performance

The public is invited to attend the free one-man play performance of Molière Than Thou sponsored by the student French club, Entre Nous, on Friday, Oct. 21, at 7 p.m. in the Science Auditorium.

CAC Films

On Friday, Oct. 21, CAC will be showing Nausicaa of the Valley of the Wind at 9:30 p.m. in the Science Auditorium 2950. The film is free and open to the public.

HFA Gallery Opening Reception

On Friday, Oct. 21, there will be an HFA Gallery Opening Reception from 7 until 9 p.m. at the Humanities Fine Arts Gallery. The reception honors the Morgain Craig: Forthcoming (Main Gallery) and Amanda Smith: Impasee (Mezzanine Gallery) opening. The exhibit continues through Nov. 25.

Continental Ballet Performance

Come enjoy an evening performance of the classic fairy tale Cinderella on Saturday, Oct. 22, at 7:30 p.m. in the Student Center's Edson Auditorium. ACT-National Exam
