Art Club holiday art sale

The Art Club will hold its annual art sale on Saturday, Dec. 3, from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. in the Humanities Fine Arts Gallery. A campus tradition, the sale features work by students, faculty, and local artists.

Carol Concert

The 2011 Carol Concert will feature George Frederic Handel's Messiah oratorio. Selections from the work, focusing on those that are familiar to the listening audience, will be performed on Saturday, Dec. 3, at 7:30 p.m. and Sunday, Dec. 4, at 2 p.m. in the Humanities Fine Arts Recital Hall followed by a reception and caroling. Dance Ensemble

The Dance Ensemble student organization presents "Move Your Feet!" on Saturday, Dec. 3, at 1 p.m. and 7 p.m. in the Student Center's Edson Auditorium. The program features 16 dances from ballet to Beyonce! Tickets can be purchased at the door.

Saxophone Lecture Recital

Eric Gorecki presents his senior recital in the Humanities Fine Arts Recital Hall on Sunday afternoon, Dec. 4, at 5 p.m. This event is free and open to the public.

December Soup and Substance

Join members of the campus and community in the monthly dialogue series, fortified with a simple supper of bread and soup on Tuesday, Dec. 6, at 5:30 p.m. in the Student Center's Alumni Room, Oyate Hall.

Chamber Recital

Enjoy the Chamber ensemble in concert in the Humanities Fine Arts Recital Hall on Tuesday evening, Dec. 6, at 7:30 p.m. This event is free and open to the public.

CNIA Lecture: Elizabeth Castle and Madonna Thunder Hawk

The Circle of Nations Indian Association sponsors Dr. Elizabeth Castle and Madonna Thunder Hawk speaking on "Women of the American Indian Movement from Alcatraz Occupation to Wounded Knee." Thunder Hawk is a veteran of both Wounded Knee and Alcatraz. The lecture will take place on Wednesday, Dec. 7, at 7:30 p.m. in Imholte Hall 109.

Mixed Student Recital

A mixed student recital will be performed on Thursday, Dec. 8, at 7:30 p.m. in the Humanities Fine Arts Recital Hall. This event is free and open to the public.

Jazz Dance

The UMM Jazz Ensembles and UMM Swing Club are hosting a Jazz Dance on Thursday, Dec. 8, at 9 p.m. in the Student Center's Oyate Hall.

Gross Indecencies staged reading

A staged reading of Gross Indecencies is being brought to you by the Meiningens on Friday Dec. 9, at 9 p.m. and Saturday, Dec. 10, at 7:30 p.m. in the Humanities Fine Arts Black Box Theatre.

University Choir Concert

The University Choir Concert will perform on Friday, Dec. 9, at 7:30 p.m. in the Humanities Fine Arts Recital Hall.

CAC Films presents Jumanji

On Friday, Dec. 9, the Campus Activities Council (CAC) will be showing Jumanji at 9:30 p.m. in the Student Center's Edson Auditorium. The film is free and open to the public.
