Jane Addams Project
The Jane Addams Project is a cross-cultural discussion circle for Spanish- and English-speaking Morris residents and students. The discussion will be held on Tuesday, Feb. 26, at 7 p.m. in Imholte Hall 111.
Post Racial Comedy Tour
The University of Minnesota, Morris will host Christian Lander and Elon James White in a convocation on Tuesday, Feb. 26, at 7:30 p.m. in the Student Center’s Edson Auditorium. Lander, creator of the pop culture phenomenon Stuff White People Like, and White, the award-winning creator of This Week in Blackness, address the question of what it means to be “post-racial" in their Post Racial Comedy Tour.
Honors Lecture Series: Barry Finzel, Structural Biology and 3-D Modeling
Barry Finzel, a structural biologist who works in the pharmaceutical industry, will present a lecture on Wednesday, Feb. 27 at 5 p.m. in Science and Math 2190. Finzel’s 3-D models are "mind-blowing." This event is free and open to the public. Light refreshments will be served.
Spanish Conversation Table

Using Computational Methods from Physical Chemistry to Interpret Genomic Information
On Thursday, Feb. 28, there will be a lecture on using computational methods from physical chemistry to interpret genomic information. It will be held in Science and Math 2950 and will begin at 5:30 p.m.

Open Mic Night
On Thursday, Feb. 28, there will be an Open Mic event beginning at 9:30 p.m. in the Student Center’s Turtle Mountain Cafe. Students are welcome to participate and enjoy various performances.
AISES Region V Conference
AISES Region V Conference will be held Friday, March 1, through Saturday, March 2. The mission of AISES (the American Indian Science and Engineering Society) is to substantially increase the representation of American Indians and Alaskan Natives in engineering, science, and other related technology disciplines. CAC Films Presents—27 Dresses
On Friday, March 1, there will be a showing of 27 Dresses in the Science and Math Auditorium, beginning at 9:30 p.m. This event is sponsored by Campus Activities Council (CAC) Films.
