UPDATE: Farm accident claims boy's life

A 13-year-old rural Herman boy, Mitchell Doyle Kleindl, died Wednesday following a farm accident.

The Grant County Sheriff's Office reported that Kleindl was trapped under corn in a grain bin that was being unloaded on a farm southwest of Herman.

Herman First Responders, the Herman Fire Department, Donnelly First Responders, the Stevens County Ambulance Service and the sheriff's office responded.

Kleindl was found unconscious and unresponsive. CPR was administered and he was transported to Stevens Community Medical Center, where he died after attempts to resuscitate him.

The Grant County Sheriff's Office continues to investigate the accident.
