Update: National Weather Service issues blizzard warning for Thursday

MORRIS -- The National Weather Service has issued a blizzard warning for Stevens County from 3 a.m. Thursday through Thursday evening.


Snow with winds around 40 MPH to 55 MPH will cause whiteout conditions. Wind chills of 30 below zero can be expected.

Travel will be extremely dangerous. If you must travel, have a winter survival kit with you. If you get stranded, stay with your vehicle. Listen to your local weather station for updates to this alert.
