The Nicollet County FSA office located in Saint Peter will be closed Monday, August 6, 2012, and consolidated with the Blue Earth County office in Mankato.
The Pine County FSA office located in Hinckley will be closed Wednesday, August 8, 2012, and consolidated with the Kanabec County office in Mora.
The Waseca County FSA office located in Waseca will be closed Wednesday, August 8, 2012, and consolidated with the Steele County office in Owatonna.

On May 29, 2012, FSA received approval from Secretary of Agriculture Tom Vilsack to proceed with the implementation of the county office consolidation plan, which is part of the USDA's "Blueprint for Stronger Service." The five FSA offices slated for closure in Minnesota were announced in January and May of this year, as part of the overall Blueprint for Stronger Service plan implementation process.
"Customers have been notified of the forthcoming office consolidations and will have their farm records automatically transferred to the new administrative office for uninterrupted service effective on the day of office closure." Hennen stated. "Customers have also been given an opportunity to select a different office through which to do their business if the new administrative office will not be convenient for them."
"Over the past three years, FSA has faced a variety of budget-related challenges," said Hennen. "Through a targeted, nationwide office consolidation effort, FSA is striving to gain efficiencies and continue to provide high-quality service to our customers, while balancing significant budget cuts, staff reductions and increasing workloads."
