Vintage duck hunting boats are centerpiece of new museum exhibit
A unique collection of vintage duck hunting boats is the centerpiece of a new exhibit at the Minnesota Lakes Maritime Museum in Alexandria.
The duck boats are from private collections around the upper Midwest and represent both factory-produced and one of a kind hunting watercraft.
The exhibit's highlight is a unique piece of local history - a duck boat used in the late 1800s by market hunter Sam Fertig.
